This autumn, the agency in charge of digital transformation will commence its operation.
The establishment of such an agency is a symbol of reform. It will eliminate bureaucratic sectionalism and, as a control tower with powerful authority and a budget of 300 billion yen in its first fiscal year, lead the digitalization of the whole nation.
