TICAD was launched in 1993 to promote high-level policy dialogue between African leaders and development partners. TICAD VI was the first TICAD held on African soil. “We Are Tomodachi” is a magazine published with the aim of further deepening people’s understanding of the initiatives of the Government of Japan and the charms of Japan.
