14Prime Minister Abe in ActionAttended the G20 Summit on Financial Markets and the World Economy, chaired by Chancellor Angela Merkel of the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of his visit to Hamburg in the Federal Republic of Germany. The G20 is the premier forum for international economic cooperation, and at Session 1, “Economic Growth and Trade,” which dealt with the most important challenges facing the G20, Prime Minister Abe led the leaders’ discussion as the lead speaker.
