Launch of Official Website for G7 Japan 2016

The Japanese government today launched an official website for Japan’s G7 Presidency in 2016.

This dedicated site will regularly deliver news and updates on the G7 Ise-Shima Summit to be held on May 26-27 and the 10 ministerial meetings that Japan will host throughout this year.

Visitors to this website will be welcomed by a special video message from Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announcing the start of Japan’s G7 Presidency.

Moving forward, this website will be expanded to provide a range of resources including details on the agenda, itineraries for G7 discussions, as well as snap-shots of the host communities. It will also feature photos and video content alongside reference materials and archives.

For the press, the site will offer the latest press releases, as well as details on the accreditation process and International Media Center.

A Japanese language website is also available from today.
